  • French Quarter: The French quarter is also known as White town which is a testament of the city’s colonial past. It is found within well-organised streets and tall buildings that possess French architecture such as grand doors, high ceilings and elaborate iron balconies. Some of its famous landmarks include Raj Nivas-the Lieutenant Governor’s residence and Notre Dame des Anges Church with an attractive face and calm interiors. This area also houses many boutiques, art galleries, cafes where one can enjoy French pastries and cuisine.
  • Aurobindo Ashram: The Aurobindo Ashram is one of the most popular and spiritually significant attractions in Pondicherry founded by Sri Aurobindo.   • Paradise Beach: Another prominent beach in Pondicherry that is renowned for its nightlife.
