Anthargange is approximately 67 km from Bangalore and the journey by road usually takes 2 to 3 hours. Buses are available too which take up the same amount of time, depending on stops and traffic conditions.

The ideal time to visit Anthargange is from October to March when the weather is pleasant. The cool weather allows for easy trekking and sightseeing and other outdoor activities.
