The Gudibande Fort is among the best historical forts which was built by Byre Gowda. Built during the 17th century, this was used as a military site and served as a strategic defence outpost during battles. One of the best features of the fort is the intricate water reservoir and conservation system that is connected by seven ponds. The fort has seven floors and it is marked by bastions, strong walls and hidden passages. It offers great views of the surrounding area and is an astonishing spot for historical buffs.
